I graduated from the University of Alberta in 1982 with a Bachelor of Education  majoring in music.  During the first few years of my career I completed a Masters Level in Orff Schulwerk which taught me how to share my love of music more effectively with children.

After teaching in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan for a number of years, my family and I moved to St. Albert so that I could join the staff and students of Robert Rundle School as a music specialist.  Since then, besides teaching K-6 music, I have been a homeroom/Language Arts teacher in a variety of grades.  For the last two years I have been part of the AISI leadership team and have helped support the direction our school has taken.

I love to teach and believe that children are never to be underestimated.  Given appropriate opportunities and a safe environment all children can succeed and shine!
